Pros

I worked at Royal for about 2 years as a product specialists at the Kia location off of Speedway. I gotta say....Royal is a great place to work. I’ve never worked anywhere that made me feel important. They guide you step by step and help you gain skills that you never knew you could. Continuous training from managers that treat you like a real person, not like a number. They make sure you receive any help you need and get an answer to any question you might have. Give Royal a shot, I’m confident you won’t be disappointed.

Cons

Requesting time off can sometimes be a chore.

Pros

- Biggest pro is being non-commissioned sales, takes the pressure away from the customer and the salesperson. Car salesmen are typically regarded as trying to take advantage of the customer to get more commissions, you take that away and it really changes the environment. - The managers I had the pleasure of working with wanted you to get better and better, and they were willing to help as long as you were willing to put the effort. - I was 21 when I got the job, youngest sales consultant at the time, making a pretty decent salary. Plus, I got to learn a lot about the industry whilst gaining sales experience.

Cons

- Long hour days are not uncommon. You might be scheduled to leave at 4:30 and end up staying until the end of the day. BUT, it meant you had a customer, and you were doing business, so it is not necessarily a bad thing. Unless you have other commitments, or you really don't like to stay longer than scheduled, that could be the only issue. - Sometimes there was pressure, as in any other business, to work harder. But if you were doing what your managers and team leaders constantly suggest, you should not have a problem keeping a healthy pipeline of customers.
