Working at Royal is a physically demanding job with some good compensations. - Machine Operator Royal Technologies Employee Review

Pros

An employee owned company with benefits and incentive programs for discounted benefits. They are constantly trying to improve and build for new business.

Cons

Depending on the area the work is hard. Though the shifts are set you are expected to work overtime daily or weekly if necessary and sometimes you get no work which leads to less than 40 hour weeks. Temps and new hires seem to cycle through quite quickly leaving more work for the regular employees.

Pros

They care about their employees. You can tell this by the amount of employees who have been there 20+ years. If someone is ambitious and wants to put in the work they will help them move up. Culture is good and fun. I have spent 7 years on third shift and moved up consistently.

Cons

Getting to first shift can take many years because of the amount of employees who desire that shift. The company has been working to bring in new work which seems to be shifting culture.
