Pros
-Initial scheduling and insurance logistics are covered by the path support staff. -The compensation is very strong, significantly more so than other employers that require a similar or more difficulty workload. -Complete freedom to create your own schedule. -general independence to focus on the clinical work rather than billing logistics. -Support staff are great, prompt in response, and open to questions. - Services are all telehealth.
Cons
-*For those that do not like telehealth, the opportunities to do in person would not be there (moot point for those that are okay with telehealth) -The EHR is definitely serviceable, but messaging clients with it can be clunky at times. -There are some opportunities for collaboration with other mental health professionals within the company, but for those that really value it, this position is mostly an independent venture. This also is a very subjective con, but worth acknowledging on its own. (this is personally not a con for me since I regularly correspond with my graduate school peers for clinical feedback when needed).
