Pros

None they are not good to employees

Cons

This company is like a cancer we were part of a company that got absorbed by these guys and when they came in they changed everything. Biggest hit was lowering all our pay and commissions. Management is over the top and very pushy on sales. These people are never happy I was a top performer in the region but all they cared to look at were the negatives. Worst retailer ever

Hello thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback at this time. We are sorry to hear about some of your concerns while working for our company. At Russell Cellular, we strive to provide the best employee experience we can within our industry. During growing periods, we know that the transitions can be tough for all parties involved. As we try to instill our culture and values into all new stores, whether acquired or open new, we always want to provide a great work environment for all of our team members. As our compensations packages do not always line with the wants with all of our employees, we review and correct our pay policy to be competitive with other retailers. While you were employed with our company, you could have contacted our Employee Relations Department to discuss anything you would have liked further if you felt you were not being treated with respect by your sales leader. We thank you again for your review.

Pros

Potential for good income Ample downtime Base pay + commission instead of commission only LGBTQ+ friendly, name tag does not need to be your legal name

Cons

Poor management Values KPIs above customer needs (you'll still get plenty of emails telling you to not, but verbally it is encouraged to do whatever it takes to meet number goals) Poor/minimal hands-on training (everything is video webinars that are basically just power point slides. No in-person coaching unless you get lucky and have a good manager.) Unlikely to progress to higher paying positions.
