Pros

Set schedule. Mediocre benefits. 401k

Cons

Way below industry standard compensation. Owners and executive management don't care about their employees anymore. Regional managers are extremely lazy and self centered. They talk about being leaders without actually being leaders. Marketing department is non-existent. Employee relations is unhelpful. Training department is full of people who don't actually understand the sales industry.

Hello, thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback at this time. We are sorry to hear about some of your experiences with our company while currently employed. We understand our compensation packages do not always align with all of the needs of our employees. However, we do review it regularly and make the necessary adjustments to be within industry standard. Our company does care about our employees by offering other sales incentives like, Employee Purchase on VZ devices and products, being able to buy a phone on an employee's first day of work with no money down, company paid events, gift cards, etc. We always try to show our gratitude for our employees by trying to give back for their awesome work they do in our doors. We disagree with your statement that 'You care more about protecting all the family and friends you hire at HQ' - our company looks over all of our Employees as even holds annual trainings events for the concept 'Us V Field' to ensure we are in this together and better together. As a sales driven company, we have to break sales targets to drive our business on. If you have ideas / thoughts on other ways we can improve, you can e-mail suggestions@russellcellular.com or speak directly with your leaders in the field. We thank you again for your review.

Pros

Potential for good income Ample downtime Base pay + commission instead of commission only LGBTQ+ friendly, name tag does not need to be your legal name

Cons

Poor management Values KPIs above customer needs (you'll still get plenty of emails telling you to not, but verbally it is encouraged to do whatever it takes to meet number goals) Poor/minimal hands-on training (everything is video webinars that are basically just power point slides. No in-person coaching unless you get lucky and have a good manager.) Unlikely to progress to higher paying positions.
