Pros

Russell Cellular is an excellent company to work for. Great benefits and even greater people to work with. The work environment is excellent and management is easy to work with.

Cons

Compared to where I used to work and what I did before, I have no cons working at Russell Cellular. Great company to work for.

Hello – thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback at this time. We are excited to hear there are so many things you are so happy about as a current employee in our team. We try and offer great benefits and incentives so our employees understand how much we appreciate them. Specifically, with paid time off, benefits, industry discounts, company paid events. We have held our benefit rates flat for 3 years in a row and added Aflac as an additional benefit within the last year. Also, for working for a Verizon authorized agent, you can enroll in ‘Salesmaker’ program through Verizon which discounts your cell phone bill as an additional benefit for working for Russell Cellular. We understand, just like any other company, we can always improve and would love further feedback if you can think of any new approaches or innovative ideas to make our company even better. You can always email suggestions@russellcellular.com or speak with your sales leaders. We thank you again for your review!

Pros

Potential for good income Ample downtime Base pay + commission instead of commission only LGBTQ+ friendly, name tag does not need to be your legal name

Cons

Poor management Values KPIs above customer needs (you'll still get plenty of emails telling you to not, but verbally it is encouraged to do whatever it takes to meet number goals) Poor/minimal hands-on training (everything is video webinars that are basically just power point slides. No in-person coaching unless you get lucky and have a good manager.) Unlikely to progress to higher paying positions.
