Pros
I'm on the consumer side at RxSense, on the SingleCare brand, comments are in that context: - huge growth since launch only 3 years ago, company is profitable, growth continues; not many startups have that trajectory - very solid team, knows what they are doing, and the new folks brought in over the past 6 mos are energizing the digital / consumer side - small enough where you can have an impact (~180+ employees company-wide), but large enough where we have the tools and resources; maybe not what we need, but adequate given the growth trajectory and speed - very much a 'speed wins' kind of place; test it fast, move on, if it loses, try something else, keep going - you need to be up for that.
Cons
Can be challenging to work across many different office (upside is the flexibility of work locations) commmunication overall across the company could be better; a challenge given several locations (Boston, NYC, NJ, call center in FL); could build out the HR function a bit to perhaps take care of that given our size now. A bit of old vs new; that may sound odd at a 3 yr old company, but the folks there from there at the start naturally are different than the folks you bring in later; so some growing pains, but nothing that can't be overcome
