Pros

Blue cross blue shield health benefits with 3 different tiers to choose from Nice game room with free snacks, energy drinks, sodas, la croix Laidback culture Flexible hybrid environment There's a "team bubble" where your manager has a lot of say with your pay/responsibilities Bonuses RT pays more than most Easy system to understand

Cons

It is a money driven industry, so brokers are always trying to grow while always being understaffed as a team. High stress with little support High turnover rate Constant understaffing Brokers are mostly exempt from the requirement to be in office but lower level employees are required to come in Some brokers are unfair with their bonuses Broker gets to decide when raises are given on an annual basis ; the process should be automated due to inflation and the company's annual revenue increases Not a diverse office (boys club / primarily FSU Greek life)

There is a lot to unpack in this review, and we want to begin by thanking you for your honest opinion. Insurance brokerage can be a high-stress industry and it is important that we remember to show appreciation. To that end, we have developed and continue to grow our leadership training programs, provide a variety of well-being support benefits, and a more robust employee relations team who are here to help.

Pros

Fair compensation. Amazing retirement plant - 50% 401(k) match from 1% to 75% of bi-weekly compensation. Obviously there is the IRS limit, but you have option to max out that limit earlier.

Cons

None that I can identify

Pros

If you are cool with regressing into a zero impact worker it’s a very easy company to coast at and it’s largely incentivized.

Cons

Zero professional dignity. Your stakeholders will be some of the dumbest people you’ve ever met and the company rewards this. Everything gets mangled into some 5 year olds vision and the spend on mediocrity is insane. They hate technology you’ll never get access and all software decisions are made through the lens of how some corpo who doesn’t work would want to use it. Couldn’t stand the people I had to deal with and just all around anti technology anti productivity kind of place, just crazy.
