I've done several internships throughout college and Concur's program outdoes them all by a landslide! The holistic approach to internships creates a summer that launches any intern into a strong career whether it happens to carry on at Concur or not. Here are a few of my favorite parts of the program: - Recruiting team's commitment to see you, as an individual, be successful - Exposure to senior leadership - Commitment from executives to invest in the next generation of their company - Fun social events - Opportunities to learn from other areas of the business - Company culture - collaborative and innovative
Cons
There are inevitably challenges to work at a company that was recently acquired - change, uncertainty, etc. That being said, it shows a lot about the leadership team and how they handle change management. Overall, was impressed with the opportunities for growth and development at a unique time for the company.
