There are a lot of people who are incompetent but unfireable: nepotism hires/nobody wants to take the trouble/whatever. But it's killing the company. Senior management has been making a lot of really bad decisions this year that make it clear that employees are not their biggest asset. In fact, employees are clearly way down the list. Lots of people have left and lots more are leaving. Only the people who incompetents are going to be left soon because all the good ones are leaving. I'm expecting layoffs by December, too. I'm glad I got out early 2022. There's nothing to miss.
