Pros
I have worked at SAP NS2 for many years (and even longer if you include other SAP sister companies) in various technical roles. I think NS2 is a solid place to work. (1) The company has always taken care of me by keeping me at or above market pay, and the benefits are great. (2) The work-from-home policy is pretty good (which I appreciate) and the company has always taken care of me. (3) The managers I have worked for over the years have been supporting and professional. (4) There are a lot of very smart and capable people that work at NS2. I don't feel that I am surrounded by people who don't know what they are doing. (5) My work gets recognized occasionally, which is nice. (6) I generally feel that our top Leadership is worth following.
Cons
I don't really have that many cons. (1) There is still a generous work-from-home policy since covid happened... but NS2 is currently pushing a 1-day a week in the office, if you live near an office location. Kind of wondering if they are going to push harder down the road one day on this... I kind of wish NS2 would drop this policy back to before where it was fully employee-choice/optional. (2) It might be just my team, but prepare to juggle multiple projects at once. Sometimes I wish I could focus on one project/product instead of many, to prevent feeling burned-out on occasion... but I have always been able to take time off when I needed it, so that helps.
