Pros
SAS was once the unchallenged leader in their field; the quality of life (if you happened to have been fortunate enough to have worked in Cary) was amazing
Cons
The company's decline is accelerating. Where once SAS enjoyed an unchallenged landscape into which to sell its very expensive yet very excellent analytics-centric solutions, today there are myriad competitors selling equally fine solutions at a fraction of the license costs.
