Schedulers are some of the most unprofessional people you will come across
They will take you off jobs without notice to "spread out work" even if you are an Expert (highest level in the company). Support is just as bad
The sad thing is that when I first joined the company it was a lot better than it is now. They want you to drive 2-3 hours a day for a week sometimes and REFUSE to put you in a hotel. The only time you are guaranteed a hotel is if you do Family Dollar remodels well out of state (more than 5-6 hours away). When other companies hear you work for SASR, they immediately know that, unless you pay for a hotel out of pocket, you are not able to work multiple days on an assignment. The schedulers will send emails and call you left and right when they are desperate to get an assignment filled but you apply for a pay increase or ask for a hotel and you are just about guaranteed to NOT get the assignment.
The ability to Self-Assign jobs has all but disappeared
The CEO and upper management are pretty much ghosts/soulless suits because I've only talked to the CEO once in all my years with the company.
There is absolutely NO COMMUNICATION between headquarters and the field reps. You would think there would be at least one trip to meet the people that keep the company going
No Advancement opportunities whatsoever
No pay raises or benefits
