Pros
Flexible Hours for the most part, however, many times you will be working 10-14 hour days. Met some very nice people
Cons
If you are lucky to be promoted, you will have a lot more responsibility, many more accounts and maybe a few thousand dollars increase which does not make up for the amount of time you are working and the amount of responsibility you have. The poor custodians can't get increases because the contracts are negotiated so aggressively that after 3 years there still isn't room for a raise for them from 9.00/hr to 9.50/hr. Also, it is extremely hard to get bonuses because the profit margins are ridiculously high, so your accounts will be making the company money but you will be red =no bonus. Finance has no clue of managers names or responsibilities. Upper management does not care about middle managers. It appears like everyone is in it for themselves in this company. Division/Regional managers do not respond to emails, phone calls.... Don't forget, you will be working weekends and holidays as employees won't show up and you will need to find replacements. This company has sooooo much POLITICS, it's crazy... This company is so disorganized and they are stupid for not retaining top managers. They will pay managers 40-50k and work them to death. Horrible company... There is virtually no recognition, rewards, training sucks with outdated safety chats, email lists are outdated and you may be a site mgr but not included on the email distribution lists. HR, Finance, Payroll, A/P are all disconnected with each other and no one knows what's going on. I advise you 100% to not work for this company.
