Pros
• They used to provide some fun events for corporate employees to participate in (sporting events, lunches, contest for holidays, etc) prior to COVID. Great team building initiatives. • There are some great people to work with, very few who are in management.
Cons
• Management is awful, does not assign projects and still expects a high performance from team members. • Management does not communicate. • Management demeans/ belittles and talks badly about their team to other team members. • Poor management gets promoted through poor behavior and in my experience, that stems from Charles Somers. • Charles Somers respectfully has built the company from nothing, but equally treats people as such (nothing). • Management preaches how critical it is to be present in the office but works remote themselves and as of recent, started hiring (senior leadership team members) remote but requires lower level employees to be in the office. • They use “snacks” as a perk. As a grown adult, I do not need someone to provide me snacks to incentivize me to work. It’s a nice gesture, but management uses it as a crutch of “what they do for you.” • Management expects you to work 24/7 and criticizes those who put their health and family first. • Poor management is supported by HR who dismisses blatant offenses by management (not just one person, but multiple).
