Pros

low cost health insurance benefit, dental, vision, 401k, FSA

Cons

They don’t care about you they only care about the performance, percentages, numbers, ratings. Lack of employee appreciation, forces you to work over time, your performance only matters and it sucks the life out of you. A small “appreciation” with a logo hoodie? No thanks. Bonus is small. Raise is small and does not meet inflation. You just don’t feel appreciated. Up to a few years ago they cared about the employees but that has changed within the last two years. They advertise room for growth but there is no opportunity for you here unless you slave away 5+ years.

We regret hearing about your negative experience but are glad to hear that you appreciate our robust benefits offerings. SCAN prides itself on caring for its employees and the fact that 93% of all of our Rebels (employees) say it is a great place to work is a point of pride for our organization. We always welcome—and encourage—feedback from employees at all levels of the organization and offer the option to submit it anonymously at any time. Our leaders also have an “open door” policy, and we encourage our team members to utilize that opportunity as well. Pros

• I learned to have empathy for our clients. • I acquired leadership skills too. • Proper balance of independence and support • on the job • Guidance from the higher-ups • Policies are updated regularly to be more in tune with employees’ needs. • 4-day workweek (I get Mondays and Tuesdays off.) • Fair salary and perks like hybrid setup, tuition reimbursement, and wellness benefits.

Cons

It’s stressful to handle grievances and appeals. You must have the stamina if you want this kind of job.

Pros

The location is decent enough, and the commute did not make things worse than they already were.

Cons

- There is a very clear in group culture in the office, and if you are not included from day one, you are immediately at a disadvantage. - People stick to the same lunch groups every day with the same conversations, and if you are outside of that circle, you are simply left observing. - Getting basic work answers can become unnecessarily difficult because information tends to circulate only within informal groups that are never openly shared. - Effort and performance do not seem to matter much compared to social placement within the office hierarchy, which appears to be decided almost immediately during onboarding. - Management acts as if none of this exists, even though it is felt constantly by anyone outside those circles.
