Pros
Generally good people. Hard-working. Caring. Very friendly. I've been working for Schumacher for over 10 years. Met a lot of great people. The benefit package is great! Very flexible schedule. Pay is good. Comfortable work environment. Dr. Schu is a wonderful, inspiring person!
Cons
There have been many many changes. This is no longer the community caring company that it was in the beginning. I see more and more leaning towards the money and the fame instead of the quality. Bigger isn't always better. They are more worried about making themselves look good. Bad decisions from executive team in the past couple of years. Possibilities of advancement are based more on who likes you than your knowledge or experience. Big fancy meetings that don't accomplish much. Used to be a company that folks retired with, now turnover is high, especially in management. Associates get forgotten about. Especially the ones not working in front of management. Minimum of cost of living raise yearly would be nice instead of the current policy where the norm is 1 - 2%.
