Fair warning: IT middle and upper mgmt is incompetent. Run like a dictatorship. Director is narcissistic, uncaring and disrespectful. Doesn't listen. Dismissive. Seems like CIO is oblivious to what's really happening in her own dept. A large amount of staff, company wide, are so burnt out. Severe lack of communication. Friends promote friends. All this while you're underpaid, insulted, gaslit, not heard when you speak up, no meaningful feedback, either good or bad. My mistake was I trusted mgmt way too much and I should've left a long time ago. If HR responds to this posting, it won't matter.
