Pros
It's incredibly rewarding to feel like my creative talents are being directed towards making the world more sustainable, environmentally and socially. This company has heart. It starts from the CEO and trickles down. He lives and breathes his mission and he is as much of an activist as a businessman... sometimes a bit more of the former. He can occasionally rub some people the wrong way... people who mistake his passion for anything else, but I have never worked for someone who I respect and admire more. I belong here. These are my people. We can recycle and bike to work all we want, but real change comes on a legislative level, on a larger scale level where businesses are held to sustainable standards and forced to clean up their act. SCS has greatly impacted our planet in a positive way, and we continue to evaluate practices across the spectrum of all industries, and figure out how we can do better. It's exciting to come to work everyday and be part of this momentum. Plus, I have never been surrounded by so many brilliant people in one place... I learn new things everyday.
Cons
We are a bit behind technologically, but things are changing and coming along
