      Pros

      You set you on limits. Over the many y seen many hard working employees advance in the ranks within the company. They advanced because they worked hard and it was recognized by management. Benefits, 2nd to none. As an hourly employee it unbelievable to me that I have 4 weeks of vacation 7 days of personal time as well as all the typical holidays. Health care is the gold standard and SKA does everything it can go keep the cost down. SKA has always been a family oriented business and is flexible to a fault, but in a good way. I have seen and have received personal help inside and outside the office. Which is a benefit that you can't put a monetary price on. We can put in long hours, but as employee owned business, you get out want you put into it.

      Cons

      The only cons I can think of is that there is to much stuff in our racquetball courts to play.

      Pros

      SKA benefits are top notch: hybrid work situation is a huge plus, office gym is really well equipped, PTO is generous, health insurance is amazing, 401K company matching is very good. I have really enjoyed the health challenge events for bonding with co-workers and getting healthy! Company event are really fun and great for getting to know co-workers and camaraderie!

      Cons

      Downsides include lack of ethnic diversity but feel that this is something the company strives for.

      Pros

      Coming from a very large company to SKA has been refreshing. I enjoy the team atmosphere and being part of a family-like group with a long history of providing quality engineering services. My favorite activity so far is the company wide event. With nearly full participation from the entire company, we spent time together learning more about the projects and services of each group within the company. We were able to tour one of the amazing projects that our structural team designed and enjoy a local baseball game together. It was a great opportunity to meet co-workers from our other offices and disciplines.
