      Pros

      It used to be a great place to do great science.

      Cons

      The lab has become overresourced with bureaucracy. The mission "support" functions that have grown too big for their impact on science, or in some cases like the IT and HR departments, have become so inept as to wonder how lab leadership allows them to continue to do the damage they do.
