Pros

Occasionally you get three weeks off. Good insurance benefits

Cons

Lack of work home life balance. Spoke down to by management. Management talks negatively about employees to other employees. If you ask for time off you get scolded. Expect you to be somewhere within 10 minutes notice at times. Always change the schedule makes it hard to plan for things at home. Away from home for weeks at a time. Favoritism is a big thing. Does not follow time fatigue management plans as per the CNLOPB. Expects employees to disregard safety when there is a benefit for them. If you have a specialist apt you’re asked to reschedule it because it’s inconvenient for them to find someone to fill in. Once asked if we could work for free If given reward points by other employees sometimes denied these points until escalated by other management. If you need time off for school forget it because that’s not going to happen if the exam isn’t in your scheduled time off. Threaten by management to do things that should have a choice based on their own policies. ( you scratch my back I’ll scratch yours) Told your lucky to have a job. Training is expected to be completed on your days off. Expected it go into the office at times on days off with no pay because your salaried. HR complaints go unheard.
