Cons
Although considered "full time" there is no guarantee of actual number of hours; if there are no calls available you will make no money. You are on your own in the field; it can be almost impossible to reach the company by telephone; they prefer email communication which can be difficult when you are traveling from job to job. The company hates overtime with a passion, so that means that if you are getting close to the 40 your mark, you are to stop work at the point where you may incur overtime on the nextcall. The company pays .26 cents per mile for car reimbursement, which will cover fuel, but comes nowhere near maintenance costs and vehicle depreciation if you drive a great deal.
