Poor Overall Experience - Anonymous employee SMU (Southern Methodist University) Employee Review

Poor management & organizational structure. Upper management tends to be condescending and unhelpful. Employees are overworked and super underpaid for a campus where students drive cars that are more than most of the salaries. Toxic environments throughout departments and no sense of urgency to rectify any of these issues. Would not recommend unless you are looking to get a degree but keep in mind tuition benefits will leave you without a full paycheck for 6-9 months out of the year. Your salary needs to be more than 60K to justify that kind of expense otherwise you could be left with $100 paychecks. In addition, being a diverse employee is very difficult due to overall culture.
