Pros
Decent pay, decent management and culture in terms of personality. Good relationship with AWS. They are a growing company thanks to their focus. Well articulated medium-term plan and good transparency from the highest management (regular updates on contract awards/protests, planning activities). Note that a guy named John Parris is listed as the CEO in emails and does this communication, I have no idea who Arshed Javaid is so I can't comment on that.
Cons
HR is completely tone deaf when it comes to their benefits. They switched to offering ONLY a high deductible health plan, and the insurance provider is terrible. They don't understand that the so-called "benefits consultants" get kickbacks from the insurance companies and 401(k) providers they recommend. Their 401(k) plan is pretty bad in terms of options and the expense ratios on the available funds. Their match percentage is also middling. Talking to other in the industry, the benefits are quite sub-par. I also agree with the lack of advancement sentiments expressed in other reviews. Management is super nice to employees personality-wise, but your employer is not your friend, I'm here to get paid and grow. So it's typical as far as IT jobs go, you gotta move out to move up. Get your experience and use your contacts to move on.
