I liked being able to take the train into work. (That's it, so that's a good indication this company was not a fit for me.)
Cons
Three quarters of my team voluntarily quit within the last twelve months. Several of them were "star" employees who got promotions and perks. This is a serious issue because these people were not disgruntled. They had been rewarded and acknowledged, but they STILL didn't want to stick around. Possible reasons: no one on the team really knew what their job was. Promotions were clearly not based on written qualification criteria. (Some people were promoted who literally did not have the experience/knowledge the job description listed as mandatory. ) Middle management showed no creativity or imagination. Recruiters and upper management misrepresented positions during the interview process. Lots of rumors about the future of the company.
