Pros
I think the company overall is going in a good direction. Developers seemed happy. Sales reps seemed happy, although they are all fresh out of college and don't have any full-time experience to compare SPS to.
Cons
The Implementation Team is an unprofessional nightmare. It was by far the worst work experience in my 13-year career. There is a constant air of negativity: nonstop complaining from the team and everyone is always angry- clients included. I overheard customers being called "idiots" (and worse) by management after a project had been escalated. My manager barely spoke to me so I had to figure out what to do on my own and trained myself. That wasn't a problem since the work is mind-numbingly boring for an experienced PM, but it didn't lend well to a good work environment. Condescending. Unapproachable. Demeaning. Immature. Toxic. All words that come to mind when I reflect on the handful of months I tried working at SPS. Word of warning for experienced Project Managers: run far, FAR away from this place. Do not work here unless you like repetitive, boring work at ridiculous volumes (think: paper pusher) and don't want to be valued for or use your Project Management skills.
