Pros
-Little to no micromanagement -Great exposure to the business world from HUGE Corporations to small Ma and Pa shops -Your time is your own -You can get support from any one in the company
Cons
- Limited marked space -It is very tough for people who haven't been at the company to make good money. -I would say 1 out of 8 AE's make it past a year. - As a sales, rep you will be taught how to sell ( excellent training) but you will never be trained on the products. - The best accounts already belong to reps who have been there for years. -There is a serious long learning curve. -The implementations are horrible and you will quickly find that SPS needs to invest into implementation. This is because even after you sell something. If they implementation goes wrong ( which happens more often than not) You will likely have to pay your commission back to SPS. -Quality leads will only go to those on top. The hungry get fed; those that try die.
