Pros
Remote flexibility is nice, lots of good people to work with.
Cons
Culture feels like it's shifting since new CEO took over and organic growth has plateaued. Implementation is shifting to increased focus on project output quotas, which brings the stress of a commission-based job without the benefits of increased pay for hitting target (beyond the 4% annual increase for an "Exceeds Expectations" annual review). Customers with absurd timeline expectations are common, but support from management to push back is limited to presenting plans to accommodate, which often involve fees for additional consultants on project. This brings in more money but does nothing to manage the bandwidth of resources, especially when so many customers have unrealistic timeline expectations. The review on positive work-life balance are confusing to me, working at night and on weekends is a regular thing to stay on top of a large project portfolio with many high-touch customers.
