There are a lot of very smart people who work at SPX. But they don’t spend a lot of time trying to show how smart they are. They spend their time leveraging how smart they are to solve problems and execute on projects and initiatives.

No significant cons. However, given a flat organization, each role must taken on significant responsibility (not necessarily a bad thing if you want to develop your career and make an impact). But this must be balanced with appropriate downtime.

Toxic leadership, favoritism, lack of trust, retaliatory behavior, selective treatment, poor morale, uncomfortable work environment, poor communication, and constant micromanagement.
