Pros
It's better than being unemployed.
Cons
SRA used to be one of the best companies to work for. Now they are one of the worst. They have once again cut our benefits to "be more competitive", yet have not touched the Sr. Management incentive bonuses a dime. They have just announced (with two weeks before it takes effect) that they are lowering vacation by five days and capping it at one times the annual rate RETROACTIVELY. In other words, if you have been trying to save vacation time because they keep laying off employees, you are essentially not going to accrue any more leave until you get down below the cap. This change, in addition to the changes to the floating holiday structure, has effectively lowered the employees compensation by 10%. Seeing as they have been capping salary increases to 2% over the last few years, that means they are paying you less then what you were paid four years ago.
