- Top heavy, management-bloated organization (way too many VPs, Senior VPs, Executive VPs, etc.) steeped in 1970s/1980s management mentality - "Good 'Ol Boys" make up a lot of that top heaviness - Company expects ridiculous working hours, and does not appear to care about work/life balance or the impact working schedules have on families - "Frugal" company that cuts costs in the most ineffective areas - Company is reactive, not proactive - Company values numbers, not people - Management "spins" information to the customer so much that it borders on dishonesty - HR department appears to be staffed with people that have no knowledge or experience with HR
