Favoritism in promotions Office politics Promotions seem to depend more on personal relationships with top management than on actual performance. Few employees get promoted every year, sometimes double, while others who consistently perform are left in the same role for years. Office politics, especially among those close to leadership, has created frustrating work environment.

Cons

Regional Managers lack leadership. They prefer to chastise instead of coach. It’s always “figure it out” when you ask for guidance. Only hear from them when something goes wrong.
