If you keep your head down or get in with the right people you can work here forever without doing much, and It can be a sweet gig. As you can guess, this leads me to the cons
Cons
HR is an absolute disaster. Not very competent or professional. I went to speak with them a few years ago regarding an issue I had with my manager. Two weeks later the CEO's admin is saying that she has heard I'm having problems. I discussed this issue with no one else. Thanks a lot. I shared this experience with a few trusted coworkers and apparently this is one of the reasons HR is not trusted by most. Who else do they share confidential information with? Don't they have enough work to do? It felt like high school.
