Not the company it once was - Manager SS&C Advent Employee Review

It is not so much what you do at Advent to advance but more who you are friends with. This type of setup makes sure the wrong people rise through the ranks in the company. This is ultimately effecting overall morale and decisions that are made. This shift in culture has really changed how it feels to work at Advent in recent years. Work still gets done, but all the credit goes to the wrong people. This makes it hard to advance the right people and create a more competent and skilled workforce going forward. Unfortunately, due to the general low caliber of management the issues seem to be going unnoticed.
