Pros

The flexible return to office policy just a few days per month, is a clear advantage, especially compared to many companies mandating four or more days per week. However, it feels like this flexibility may not last much longer, as there’s increasing pressure for more in-office presence.

Cons

Leadership remains the most significant challenge. At the highest levels within Advent, particularly with the Co GMs, there is a clear lack of effective leadership. They appear out of their depth when it comes to fostering a high-performing, execution-focused culture. Rather than embracing innovation and new ways of working, they rely on outdated strategies and often resist change. Those who do bring fresh thinking and motivation are often pushed out. Unfortunately, local leadership has also deteriorated. The VP of Sales and the Renewals Manager lack the skills and drive to lead effectively, and the GM team appears indifferent perpetuating a stagnant, insular culture. Despite barely meeting targets, no corrective action is taken. Perhaps most telling is the steep drop in employee engagement from one of the highest in the company to now the lowest. It's frustrating to see this decline go unaddressed, seemingly due to a fear of change and a reluctance to disrupt the status quo.

Company is going downhill. Don’t care about their employees and are no longer making customer service the top priority.
