Pros
SS&C is the largest fund admin in the world.
Cons
SS&C is like a slumlord. They've grown the business via acquisition and look at all their holdings as profit centers. They don't care about or invest in the people, the technologies, or the culture of the business. Senior management only cares about profitability. They just suck the cash out of everything under the holding company. Bill Stone cares about Bill Stone. And maybe Rahul Kanwar (COO). There's zero structure or organization to the business, which the CEO would argue is the driving force behind the "success" of the business, but in reality it's the leading cause for a lack of culture. If you’re looking for a fun, collaborative, and upbeat sales culture, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a soulless and disorganized sales structure where reps steal deals from one another and stab each other in the back, this is your spot. Despite the CEO constantly stating in public forums that SS&C is a "people first" organization, it's NOT at all. Case in point, look at all the comments employees have left on the Glassdoor page. How many times has SS&C responded to any of them? They don't care. Would you want to trust your career with a company that’s rated 2.8 out of 5?
