Pros

Great people to work with - many were very knowledgeable. Owner very enthusiastic and ambitious and had many exciting projects.

Cons

QA/QC on the construction side was poor due to growing pains. This lead to cost overruns, call backs to repair and strained customer service. Cost overruns eventually led to closure of the company.

Pros

SSB is a great team that really comes together to make good work. Since it's a smaller company, you really get to know everybody. The management really makes an effort to get everybody out of the office to go to baseball games, or cookouts in the park, or even go to new york city for the day. They feel like happy employees make the best products for their customers. They work hard to make sure everybody is on a team where they feel comfortable, but that can also give them a chance to grow and develop their own skills.

Cons

Nothing to complain about here. Haven't had a bad experience here yet.
