CNA ratio 15:1, Charge Nurse takes full teams, No Pharmacy at night, Inconsistent job environment. During the last couple years the medical/surgical staff have had to float quite a bit. Because our census can be low we are often pulled to other parts of the hospital to take teams. They are doing team nursing in Tele. The medical floor used to be separate from the surgical floor but we dont have enough staff for both floors to be open, so just one is open at a time. Sometimes we are on 3rd floor for weeks, then moved to 4th floor for weeks. Other times our floor is completely closed and we work in tele or are called off.
