Some of my teammates were truly wonderful humans, and most hiring managers only sought the best for their current employees while being truly dedicated to partnering in the search for top talent.
Cons
If you are reading a review of TA that is older than 6-12 months, it is likely no longer applicable. Turn over has been widespread, and most of the new managers are NOT an improvement. To say that Talent Acquisition is a mess is, quite frankly, an understatement--especially in the WI region. Micromanagement, public shaming, and threats are common tactics utilized to scare, belittle, and demean. Favoritism is rampant. Save yourself the stress and heartache and don't accept a position working in this toxic environment.
