Pros
I am currently in my seventh year with STARS and I can’t imagine working for anyone else. Over the last seven years I have felt incredibly valued and supported in all aspects. On a professional level, STARS reimburses for CEUs, licensure fees, and ASHA dues. They have provided materials such as articulation decks, educational board games, and standardized assessments if I’m at a school that doesn’t have a lot of material options. They have advocated for me when I’ve had 100+ students on my caseload and when I was providing therapy to preschoolers in a portable that was 30 degrees in the winter. On a personal level, STARS supported me through the uncertainty of the 2020 pandemic and as mentioned above when I was given a 100+ caseload and felt completely overwhelmed. Not to mention, STARS recognizes their employees' birthdays, engagements, weddings, buying a new house, and more. Working for STARS has been seamless and truly a blessing to my family and I. I cannot recommend them enough!
Cons
I have not experienced any cons while working for STARS.
