Pros

- Company stability - Family-friendly environment - The people and relationships - Relaxed dress code - Incredibly low turnover - Very few disgruntled employees or prior employees - Beautiful office - Growth - Willingness of management to listen (employees now get free coffee - apparently that bothered a lot of people) - Agile environment - STR's ability to self-reflect and recognize the need to adapt and change as growth occurs (adding new positions that haven't previously existed here) - Catered meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas - Formal Christmas party in Nashville each year with hotel room provided - Gift cards for employee's kids at Christmas - Early dismissal Friday's during the summer where everyone gets off an hour early - More and more work from home opportunities for applicable departments - developers alone get 2-3 days at home each week now

Cons

- Location may not be ideal for many who prefer staying in Nashville, - Salaries may be at lower end of the ranges for the Nashville area in some eyes, so if you're chasing the dollars then STR may not be the best fit for you - The low turnover sometimes results in limited upward career path growth opportunities (as a current employee I actually see that as a positive because I appreciate the low turnover, but understand career advancement is important for most when changing jobs.
