Pros

Working with patients is very rewarding, job security is nice, and being able to pick up hours is nice.

Cons

Inconsistant performance between techs causes friction between staff and patients as well as patients and patients. Being pulled to different units every couple days at the latest is bad for treatment consistency, patients get attached to techs, but if they arent aroumd constantly it is less helpful for them. Staff is agitated about this.

Pros

Pay is probably the highest I’ve found in the area. Night shift was chill and laid back Night shift supervisors were amazing :) Getting to help this type of population

Cons

Management - “C” Suite. Every. Single. One. They will fire you for no reason and have your job filled the next day You are only a warm body to them Day shift staff are extremely hard to work with… they have no team work Policy and Procedures change hourly I have seen I believe 5 different CEOs/C Suite employees since I’ve started Working short staffed which makes for a potentially dangerous shift Techs act like they are higher than a nurse. We do not really help anyone, we are treated like a hotel and will admit almost anyone just to fill a bed for $$$
