Cons
This company started out great, there was a greater vision in mind however over the past few years the company's goals have been lost. The vision is gone. When someone has been fired, they make up reasons and every knows about it because HR does not keep things confidential. The HR people are extremely rude and do not know how to address the employees. Management has their favorites. There is one manager in particular that looks for reasons to let people go and somehow the company is okay with this. They know what she does and they are fine with it. Yet, this particular manager plays favorites and her management style is completely twisted. I have seen her create reasons to let people go simply because she does not like the person. The company has recently undergone a change and laid off several people, but rather than be forward and say they are downsizing due to losing contracts, they made up reasons to let people go (i.e. You had an occurrence and we need to let you go). The top performers get away with everything from being late to calling in. Management will ask the to write an email stating they spoke about this employee being late therefore they do not get an occurrence and it is written off as if it was planned. People are not treated equally and regardless of how hard management tries to make it less noticeable, everyone shares their experiences with one another, therefore everyone knows what is going on. There is no room for growth. They choose to put a 21 year old with less than a years experience in a management position when someone who has 10+ years of experience is not taken seriously because they are not favorited. It is an unfair system. If management does not like you, they will talk to any department you apply for. Several people have been turned away for higher positions due to management stepping in and suggesting a different candidate. They let regular employees walk the floor and make management decisions, along with giving them their code for log ins and fee waivers. When a client wants to speak to a manager, they will most likely get another rep acting as a manager.
