Pros
The best thing about SWBC was the employees, which have now been let go. I find it hard to believe that some of these quick 5-star reviews are real.
Cons
There is always a fear of layoffs looming over employees heads. We never know if we will be kept around or "make the cut". In all honesty, the people that need to get cut are the clueless CEO's who aren't held accountable and letting their companies remain in the red, month after month. Management will tell you that SWBC is having a "RECORD YEAR", yet they are pinching back slowly on all the perks (insurance coverage, bonuses, etc.) and cutting staff left and right. Unless you're part of the good ol' boys club, don't expect a bonus! The claim to really truly care about employees and the SWBC Family falls short on every level. It's more like: "We really care about you when it makes us look good!" and "We really care when you're bringing in the money!" and "We really care about you when you're telling us what we want to hear!" Also, the work life balance is only seen if you have a manager who will go to bat for you to the upper management team.
