Pros
You get to work with a lot of different technologies.
Cons
Management.
Salary (it is also hourly at 19/hr).
A lot of work.
High turnover.
Company will employ the very minimum amount of workers needed to cover the amount of work, so if anyone's getting sick, you're doomed.
PTO will be taken as a personal insult to manager. You will have problems with it.
Management can and will make your day worse if you speak against something.
Unable to work from home during normal business hours most of the time.
You are not allowed to leave your desk to ask questions. You have to call colleagues in the next room and they might not answer if they're on the phone too.
A lot of SOPs, some of them are there to make your life harder.
There will be no reward or recognition for success, only recognition for failures.
No career path, they will tell you otherwise, but it's only Tier 1, Tier 2, Junior Engineer and that's pretty much it. No one stayed long enough to go further so they really have no idea what's next. All three positions are terrible anyway and not worth staying.
No benefits either, don't try their health insurance, it's garbage.
Also no work/life balance, there are after hours shifts that you have to take 3:30pm-12am during the week. There are 8hr shifts on the weekend, you have to take 4-5 a month, meaning half of your weekends will be ruined. This helpdesk also works on all holidays, so somebody will have to take these shifts.
