Stay Away from Sabre-FWT!!!! - Director Sabre Industries Employee Review

Given last week's events, we understand your posting and appreciate your right to post what you did. As we discussed in our all hands meetings last week, it is unfortunate that utilities have decreased their buying over the past 6+ months, impacting not only Sabre-FWT, but also our competitors, who have been closing facilities and shrinking their remaining workforces. Folks in the oil industry are feeling similar pain in that cyclical business. We reduced working hours and costs before we were ultimately forced to proceed with the layoff in Texas this past week. We're sorry that such impacted you and others in Texas. We are glad that we were able to transfer 10 folks from the pole plant to our galvanizing business, we hope others can transfer to other locations, and we absolutely plan to call back all that we can, as we've done in Bossier City over the past year. As for our future, we remain confident that the combined strengths of the Sabre and FWT businesses will help us to become #1 in the utility market, as such bounces back.
