Safe Haven Security

Is this your company?

Performance-based work but poor company structure and balance. Feels like they're taking advantage of its workers. - Security Technician Safe Haven Security Employee Review

Pros

Performance based. Most work days you don't talk to anyone besides the customer that day.

Cons

Schedules are given the night @ 9 pm. If you don't have a job that day you still need to be ready until 3pm in case you get a same-day. This produces horrible work-life balance. There's hostility between techs and the sales team creating on-site environments that are sometimes filled with discourse, lies, and confusion. The manager and team are good people, but we constantly talk about the poor treatment or policies in place to have its workers thrive. We instead feel taken advantage of. During slow season you may make pennies.

Pros

Good company culture, pretty good pay if you are good at knocking on doors. Pretty good benefits. Health, Vision, Dental, 401k.

Cons

The worst thing is the hours. You have to be knocking on doors from 2:30 till 8:30 p.m. no appointments, no real plan. They just give you a list of addresses and you go see who you can find at home. Not super crazy about the training and how they teach you to greet the homeowners at the door. I don't like to "mislead" by saying things that aren't completely true. They tell you the average rep sells 12 deals a month but the numbers don't show that. Turnover is crazy! People are in and out of this company very quickly. Only a few survive and stick around just long enough to find something else so they can spend some time with their family.
