Pros
Casual dress, daily cash incentives, hiring process took under a week..
Cons
Selling sub par product and have to talk to realtors who couldn't care less about help you get to the buyer. Recycle old prospects for new employees. Have a history of not paying realtors because of such a high turnover. All they care about is numbers: I was right on schedule during my ramp up program. I made the deals and closed them but a couple of my buyers decided to cancel later due to no fault of my own. My manager then pulled me into an office on that Wednesday and said if I don't make up those sales by Friday I would be let go. I quit the next day. When training for the first 3 weeks they won't let you close your own deals so a manager will have to close for you..If you have a large class size and have a region on the West coast your needs will be put on the back burner because of the time difference. So east coast and Midwest people will always have an advantage because you can't start making calls until 2 hours after you get to work. Lastly the incentive is too small and takes too long to get to the realtor to make it worth their time. Realtors will get 150 bucks in 8 weeks for giving up their clients info. Which sounds like a great deal. But if you have a region like LA like I had, most of these realtors are selling million dollar houses. If you sell a 7.5 million dollar house and you get 5% commission that's $375,000 you just made..what do you care about a measly $150? Also if your house cost that much why put a bum ADT system in it?
