Pros

Decent money if you don't mind no home life.

Cons

You have to use your own vehicle. All gas and repairs come directly out of your pocket. They demand you upsell at least $300 per install. If you don't, you will be publicly shamed at meetings for it. If you dont meet that goal long enough you will be let go. Not warehouse to pull equipment from: you get mailed everything. This sounds great but you're completely screwed if you don't have equipment you need which happens constantly. This means you have to drive to another tech to get what you need. The equipment is hit or miss if it'll work properly. The sales reps will straight up lie to customers to get a sale, leaving you holding the bag when you can't meet their expectations. The amount of employee turn over is insane. Most don't last more than 2 months. You have no idea what your next day looks like. Expect to wait until at least 9 pm to know where you're going the next day. Also expect to drive upwards of 4 hours to get to a job, unpaid. Your pay is determined by how much you sell or what kind of an install it'll be. Management will throw you under the bus for the smallest issues. There's no communication on standards, it's all word of mouth. If you forget or just don't hear something you will get burned.

Pros

Good company culture, pretty good pay if you are good at knocking on doors. Pretty good benefits. Health, Vision, Dental, 401k.

Cons

The worst thing is the hours. You have to be knocking on doors from 2:30 till 8:30 p.m. no appointments, no real plan. They just give you a list of addresses and you go see who you can find at home. Not super crazy about the training and how they teach you to greet the homeowners at the door. I don't like to "mislead" by saying things that aren't completely true. They tell you the average rep sells 12 deals a month but the numbers don't show that. Turnover is crazy! People are in and out of this company very quickly. Only a few survive and stick around just long enough to find something else so they can spend some time with their family.
